Sammy Ryder grew up on the Mississippi  Gulf Coast and attended jewelry school at Jones County Junior College  and has traveled the country mastering his trade.  He returned to the  coast several years ago to be near his family, father Glenn Ryder and  brothers Scott and Mike Ryder. Together Sammy and fiancé Laurie Vice  Ward decided to open a  small jewelry booth at Market Reneaux, with  the  hope of  opening  a jewelry store in Ocean Springs in the future. 

With  determination and hard work that hope became a reality. Sammy and  Laurie married in May 2016 and together they have five children. Marina  and Seth Ward of Ocean Springs, Bailey, Alexis and Kaitlyn Ryder of  Cordova TN.
