About Ryder Jewelers
Sammy Ryder grew up on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and studied jewelry at Jones County Junior College. After traveling across the country to master his trade, he returned home to be near his father, Glenn Ryder, and his brothers, Scott and Mike. Sammy and Laurie Vice Ward first opened a small jewelry booth at Market Reneaux with the dream of eventually opening a jewelry store in Ocean Springs.
With determination and hard work, that dream became a reality. Sammy and Laurie married in May 2016 and have built Ryder Jewelers around family, craftsmanship, and honest service. Today, they are proud to serve their hometown and the Mississippi Gulf Coast community.
